The fire happened in the 600 block of Saxony Drive, according to Levittown Fire Company No. 2 in a Facebook post.
A second floor bedroom was destroyed in the blaze, and there was extensive heat and smoke damage throughout the rest of the second floor, Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito told Daily Voice via email. There was also water damage to the first floor.
No one was at home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, Dippolito said.
The fire was initially spotted by a police officer who was patrolling nearby at about 5:30 a.m., a Levittown Now report states. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to Dippolito.
